I am Filip, a future Trainee at the European Investment Bank from March to July (5 months), working in a role where I support the analysis and preparation of loan decisions for public-sector entities in Central & South Eastern Europe. I will have a monthly income.
I am from Slovakia, 23 years old (my photo attached), but I was born in Switzerland and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics in Munich. I am fluent in German and Spanish, and I am currently learning French (right now spending three weeks at a language school in Montpellier).
Travelling is one of my main passions: I have travelled extensively, including a trip through China, an Erasmus exchange in Madrid, and a university exchange at UC Berkeley in California. I enjoy reading, especially books on history and economics, and I lead a somewhat active lifestyle: I run regularly, cycle a lot, and love hiking.
I also enjoy cooking (but mostly eat cold dishes due to lack of time). I am social and enjoy talking to people, generally getting along well with almost everyone. My friends often say that I am “more German than Slovak” because of my strong preference for organisation, tidiness, and reliability. During my time in Madrid, I developed a very good relationship with my landlord, who was very sad to see me leave.
I’m a non-smoker and don't have any pets.
